Most of Queen Anne's County Parks and Recreation dance classes are held at the Kramer Center - acounty senior center located at 104 Powell Street, Centreville, MD. From Broadway, make turn onto Powell St. – just past Goodwilll Fire House, and continue straight back - Kramer Center is on the left.

This Spring explore the magic of “Sleeping Beauty” through dance, music, art and the creation of dance crafts and costume accessories. Cost of $90 includes craft and costume rental fee.

 Learn the latest Junior High School Musical jazz steps, turns, leaps, and hip-hop combinations for a routine to your favorite music. Cost: $75

For little dancers who are comfortable being independent of parent for 45 minutes. Explore rhythm music creative movement and self expression using a variety of dance games and props. Cost $75

Learn basic tap steps, combinations and a short routine. Preparatory tap class, child is independent of parent. Learn basic tap steps, combinations and a short routine. Cost $75

Learn the fundamental movements of classical ballet including positions of the feet and arms, basic steps, balance and correct technique using dance games and dance props.
Child is independent of parent. Cost $75

 Girls – leotard any color, pink ballet tights, all leather pink ballet shoes  
 Boys – biker shorts and T-shirt and black all leather ballet shoes

 Adults – Comfortable loose fitting clothing and low heeled tap shoes

Belly Dance, Modern Dance, and Jazz
Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing or tights and leotards and jazz or ballet shoes

Learn the fundamentals of modern dance to practice group, solos, duos, and trios for the spring dance recital. Classes held at Kramer Center.

Belles of the Ball Performance Dance Troupe provides pre–teens and teens with the opportunity to learn antique forms of dance and perform in full period costume at selected venues in the community. Step back in time and perform minuets, polkas, Edwardian waltzes and more.  Cost of $95 includes craft and costume rental fee.
