bicycleroutemapCheck out the Brand New 2010 Queen Anne’s County Bicycle Route Map.  Designed for intermediate to experienced riders, the map highlights eight routes that show off the best of our county from Kent Island, to Tuckahoe Park, to the northern reaches.  Routes primarily utilize public roads and also feature the Cross Island and South Island trails to link to our parks, landings, and other points of interest. Click on the first link to see the overview map, and then choose which route you want to ride first.  You can save any map to your computer and print it out.  Or, wait until later this year for hard copies to be printed on 18 x 24 waterproof paper.”

Queen Anne's County Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee

  In August 2008, the Queen Anne's County Commissioners appointed a board of citizens to advise and make recommendations to the County on bicycle and pedestrian access issues. The Committee meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at Parks & Recreation Headquarters, 1945 4-H Park Rd., Centreville, Md.

Boy Scout Troop 148 of Queenstown assembled and installed benches and picnic tables at Ferry Point Park in April, 2010. The event was lead by Michael Gates of Troop 148 and was completed as Michael’s Eagle Scout Project. Queen Anne's County Park’s & Recreation would like to thank and congratulate Michael and all who assisted for a job well done!
