Queen Anne's County Recreation implements the swim program which teaches aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression. The objective is to teach people to swim and to be safe in and around the water.

 

 

 

  • Pre-registration is required.
  • Parent participation is required in Mom and Tot classes. Child must be at least 6 months old.
  • Class size is limited.
  • Recreation reserves the right to cancel any class due to low registration.
  • Classes are Monday through Thursday (Friday is the inclement weather make-up day).
  • Registration fee is $70 per person.

Vehicle Engineering Camp, Ages 9 - 13 PDF Print E-mail

peterpanExpand your imagination and let your dreams take a flight.  Spend a week in Neverland with the Lost Boys on an adventure. We will build a secret hide out clubhouse, explore the island, and hunt for swashbuckling pirate hidden treasure. This camp is all about your imagination. Peter Pan Camp will join the Tinker Bell's Fairies; known for helping others in service projects. We will even go on a pirate boat adventure in Annapolis in hopes of thwarting ‘ole Captain Hook.  Campers must bring a bag lunch, two snacks and drinks each day. Flag Football is now being offered in 2 Locations throughout Queen Anne’s County. Boys and Girls ages 4-14 sign-up for this low-contact flag football league. Age is determined by September 1, 2013. Practices will start in Mid-August and games begin on Sunday afternoons in September. No in-season practices and no travel.  No experience necessary.  Leagues include Peewees Conference entering grades PK–1st, Juniors Conference entering grades 2nd – 4th and Seniors Conference entering grades 5th – 8th.  No Equipment needed.  All participants will receive a team jersey.  Registration deadline: July 1, 2013. The following youth field hockey leagues will start in August. No experience necessary.  Girls Youth Leagues include Peewees entering grades K–2,  Juniors entering grades 3 – 5 and Seniors entering grades 6 – 8.  Equipment needed: mouth guard, shin guards and hockey sticks. Peewee and Junior girls’ sticks may be provided if necessary. Peewee Division will be mainly skill development with a short schedule of games.
