This class is recommended for first time boaters to help insure safe boating practices on Maryland waters. The course includes: boating safety procedures and devices; rules of the road; basic navigation concepts and navigation aids; and emergency procedures. Upon successful completion of the exam a Department of Natural Resources Boating Safety Certification is issued. This course is mandatory for anyone born after July 1, 1972. Cost: $30. Learn sound fundamentals and skills of the basic strokes including the serve, forehand, backhand and volley. Students are introduced to singles and doubles play, scoring and rules. Lessons include seven weeks of certified professional instruction, drills and play at Mowbray Park or Queen Anne's County High School. Cost: $105
Tone abs, thighs, hips, waist and arms through fun, low impact Egyptian Belly Dance, using dance veils and finger cymbals. No dance experience necessary. Cost $75
